Just a little History of the Ladies Auxiliary:

The Ladies Auxiliary to the VFW, founded in 1914 to help veterans and their families, is an integral part of the VFW volunteer efforts.

Our Bylaws call for our members to:

"...maintain true allegiance to the Government of the United States of America, and fidelity to its Constitution and laws; to foster true patriotism, and to preserve and defend the United States from all her enemies, whomsoever."

Promoting patriotism and helping veterans in need are just two of the many ways that the Auxiliary serves their Post and America's communities.

I have enjoyed visiting with all of our Auxiliaries and see that we are blessed to have so many dedicated members who are willing to contribute time, money and talents to our organization.

May you and yours have a wonderful and prosperous New Year!

Loyally,

Barbara Bobbitt, President District 6
