VFW PROGRAM REPORTING
It is essential all posts establish and maintain a system of program reporting that will enable the Posts to maintain a non-profit status. Aggressive program participation and reporting will also earn the necessary points to be considered for incentive awards. All programs reporting will be done on the Department web site at myfloridavfw.org – select “post accounts” button and go to “program reporting”.
REMEMBER ALL REPORTS MUST BE REPORTED ON THE WEB SITE. NO WRITTEN REPORTS WILL BE ACCEPTED
Via website myfloridavfw.org Questions call 352-622-5126
Department will furnish the National organization a report on Post accomplishments. This report will include activities of the Ladies Auxiliary. A copy of the form is on the website and can be downloaded. Complete forms should be submitted at least once a month via website. Those reports by individual chairman will be entered in the program reporting site. Although Department requires only a brief description of the activity, the amount of funds expended and volunteer hours: each Post should keep a complete record of their projects (receipts, cancelled checks, volunteer hours, etc). This will help with an IRS audit. A special National award will be given to the”Outstanding Community Service Post”. The Post Commander will receive a plaque and a check, to help defray expenses to the National Convention. The award committee will make this selection.
